Leadership Organization
LEADERS:
The leaders are the overall commanders of the kinship. They have the final authority on all matters and set the long-term goals. They also maintain the kinship bank system.
Kinship Leader: (Trinitie) The Kinship Leader is the titled leader of the kin. They are the one to actually promote and demote officers. They also are are the final authority on all non-official kin matters. They represent the kinship in relations with other kins and the community as a whole.
First Officer: (Puai) The First Officer is the leader of the officers. They preside over officer meetings and are responsible for making sure that all officer votes go quickly and smoothly. They also preside over the Council of Elders and get a vote in that body.
Master of Raids: (Marithil) The Master of Raids is the leader and organizer of kinship raiding adventures. They are responsible for organizing and scheduling regular raids and major instance runs for those who need them. They also maintain the DKP looting systems on the website.
SENIOR OFFICERS:
The senior officers are the most experienced officers of the kin. Combined, they form the Council of Elders. This body votes to appoint new officers, and to approve major kinship proposals put forth by officers or leaders. Most senior officers hold certain positions of leadership within the kinship, and are in charge of these areas.
Master Scribe: (Myrddina) The Master Scribe is the person responsible for taking notes at all meetings. They are also responsible for maintaining the website, although the leaders will take a major role in that as well. In addition, they must enforce the kin activity policies, by booting and demoting inactive members and promoting recruits to members.
Master of Kin Relations: (Indruiel) The Master of Kin Relations serves as a liaison from kin leadership to members and vice-versa. They are responsible for determining what events and raids kinship members want to do, and then coordinating with the Master of Raids and Leader to see that they are scheduled properly.
Senior Officer: Everen
Senior Officer: Alwald
JUNIOR OFFICERS:
The junior officers serve smaller roles in the kinship and are responsible for the day-to-day managment of the kinship. They recruit new members, promote members from recruit to member, and also attend and vote at general officer meetings. There are a few roles they can serve within the kinship, but every junior officer need not hold a role.
Lieutenant Scribe ()
Lieutenant of Kin Relations (Aryanne)

MEMBERS:
Members are the general population of the kinship. They have the rights to add and remove items from the kinship bank, attend all events (including sitting in on open officer meetings if they desire), and participate in general kin polls.
RECRUITS:
Recruits are members of All Shall Fade who have recently joined the kinship. For the first two weeks of their membership within the kin, they have this special status. As a recruit, they may attend all events except officer meetings and may enter the kinship hall. They cannot use the bank system but can still receive or trade items from other kin members. They are also given full member access to the website.
Recruits can become members by reaching the following criteria:
1. Being a member of the kinship for 14 days.
2. Registering on the kin website by filling out a recruiting questionnaire and creating an account.
THE FADED OATH:
One blood,
One kin,
One glimmer in the darkness.
The light I will embrace,
And the darkness I will face.
The flame of truth will never die.
On my life and honor,
As a Free Person of Eriador,
I hereby swear myself to answer the call of service.
DECISIONS:
There are a few types of decisions made by the kinship.
1. Officer Elections: Election of new junior officers. These are done by the Elder Council body.
2. Elder Council Appointments: Appointment of new Elder Council members. These are done by the Elder Council and must be approved by both leaders.
3. Kinship Decisions: Decisions about the future of the kinship. These are either made by the Elder Council with Leader veto, or by a poll of the members, depending on the decision.
ALT POLICY:
Leaders and Officers get all their alts made officers.
Members get all alts made member instantly.
Recruits get all alts bumped to member once one of their characters becomes a member.
Any recruit, member, officer, or leader may have an unlimited number of characters in the kinship. The more the merrier!
Kinship Rules
Members and officers are expected to follow these rules at all times.
KINSHIP CHAT RULES:
Kinship chat is defined as any chat taking place on the kinship, officer, or all-kin fellowship channels, tells or mails to kinship members, discussion in the forums, or chat on the kinship Ventrilo/Teamspeak server.
1. No excessive cursing or swearing in kinship chat. Every now and then is acceptable, as there is a profanity filter, but excessive swearing is rude and distracting.
2. Show respect to all kinship members and officers at all times while in kinship chat. No flaming, belittling, or otherwise disrespecting other members.
3. Please do not barter or sell items on the main kinship channel. You may give away items, but please discuss bartering or selling via tells.
LOOT RULES:
1. For a fellowship of kin members, please use need before greed.. Need on either crafting items your current character can use, or equipment that you will put on right then. Greed on anything else you or an alt could use, and pass on other items.
2. For an kinship instance run or raid, the rule above applies at the discretion of the raid/group leader. Cooperation is key, so groups are expected to discuss any loot rules on drops or keys before the instance is started.
KINSHIP HALL RULES:
1. Items in the kinship chests are only to be taken if you really need them. They are NOT for resale on the AH or vendoring. Players caught reselling these items will lose their access privileges.
2. Please place only crafting items and decoration items in the chests. Other rare and valuable items (legendary items, purple or blue gear, legendary books/pages, shards, T6 single-use recipes) can be mailed to our bank character, Asfbank.
3. By placing an items in the kinship chest, you are acknowledging that any kinship member can take the item and you are unlikely to get it back if it is taken. Officers will not hunt down items that were placed in the chests for you.
4. Please don't spill food, drink, or blood on the carpets. Thanks!
5. If you have a decoration item that you'd like to place in the kinship hall, please give it to an officer. Officers are the only ones allowed to decorate.
KINSHIP EVENT RULES:
1. Please arrive to kin events on-time.
2. If the event is a kinship raid or instance run, please have all gear repaired and have any consumables you will need ahead of time.
3. If you sign up for a kinship event (provided sign-ups are required) and cannot attend, please tell one of the event leaders ahead of time that you will not be attending.
4. If there are guests at kinship events, you are expected to treat them with the same respect you give kinship members. Rudeness to guests will not be tolerated.
CONSEQUENCES:
Your first infraction will result in a warning from an officer.
Your second infraction will result in a second warning.
Your third infraction will result in a vote for your removal from the kinship. Should the Elder Council vote to remove you, you will be removed from the kinship permanently.
The kinship reserves the right to skip the first and/or second warning if the situation warrants it.
INACTIVITY POLICY:
Senior Officers and Leaders are lowered to Junior Officer after 30 days of inactivity OR by being declared inactive by the Elder Council.
Junior Officers are lowered to Member after 30 days of inactivity.
Members and Recruits are removed from the kinship after 90 cumulative days of inactivity. They are permitted to rejoin if they become active again at a later date.
Former Kinship Leaders are given the position of Junior Officer for life, and cannot be booted or lowered below that point for inactivity.
